London Olympics 2012

A week today the London 2012 Olympics kicked off with a fantastic tribute to Great Britain masterminded my director Danny Boyle, it included references to everyday British life including James Bond, The NHS and even Saturday nights in.

After the fantastic performance by China in Beijing there has been an unprecedented amount of pressure on the Team GB to perform. 

Despite a few missed opportunities on the opening few days, Team GB have achieved 17 medals in total and currently lie fourth in the overall medals tables.

So far the games have delivered all that was promised, let hope that the rest of the games continue in the same fashion!
